About us
About Sioux Falls Plumbers
We are a local plumbing company serving Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities. Our approach is simple: diagnose properly, quote before we start, do the work carefully, and explain what we found in language that makes sense.

Local work, local knowledge
Plumbing is a local trade whether anyone advertises it that way or not. The materials in the walls, the water chemistry, the soil, and the weather all change from region to region, and they change what goes wrong in a house. In eastern South Dakota that combination produces a very specific set of problems, and working here every day is how you learn to recognize them quickly.
Hard water is the first one. Groundwater across this area carries significant calcium and magnesium, which means scale in water heater tanks, mineral buildup in faucet cartridges and aerators, and shortened life on every appliance that heats or moves water. It is quietly the most expensive plumbing condition most homeowners here live with, and most of them do not connect their fourth water heater in thirty years to the water itself.
Cold is the second. Real subzero stretches push frost deep and find every uninsulated cavity where a supply line runs. Hose bibs left connected to a garden hose, rim joists with an air leak, kitchen lines routed through a north exterior wall — these are the places we go first on a frozen pipe call, because they are where the failures are.
Groundwater is the third. Heavy clay soils drain slowly, spring melt arrives while the ground is still frozen, and summer storms drop a lot of water in a hurry. Sump pumps here are not optional equipment, and the storms that create the most inflow are the same storms that take the power out.
How we work
Every call starts with a diagnosis rather than a product. That sounds obvious, but a great deal of plumbing frustration comes from work performed on a symptom instead of a cause — a drain cabled for the fourth time when the pipe underneath it is broken, or a water heater replaced when a thermocouple would have solved it.
Once we know what is wrong we tell you the options, including the cheap one. If a repair will genuinely hold, that is on the table. If a system is at the end of its life and a repair is only buying a few months, we say that too, and we explain what we saw that led us there. Where a camera or a photo makes the situation obvious, we show it to you rather than describing it.
Then you get a price before we start. Approve it and we work. If we open something up and find a condition nobody could have known about — a rotted subfloor under a toilet, a second break in a frozen run — we stop, show you, and quote that separately. No work gets added to your bill without your say-so.
We also try to leave the place better than a plumbing job usually does. Drop cloths down, tools off the floor, debris and old fixtures hauled away, and the workspace cleaned before we leave.
What we do not do
We do not scare people into repairs. Fear is an effective sales technique in this trade and a bad way to treat a neighbor. If your sewer line has one bad joint, you will hear about one bad joint, not a full lateral replacement.
We do not pretend to be a restoration company. When a burst pipe has soaked drywall, insulation, and carpet, drying it out properly is specialized work with specialized equipment. We will fix the plumbing and tell you honestly when you need someone else for the rest.
We also do not publish reviews we have not earned. The customer feedback section on this site is deliberately left as a placeholder until real, verified reviews exist to put there.
Where we work
Our service area is Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities, including Brandon to the east, Harrisburg and Tea to the south and southwest, and Lennox further south in Lincoln County, along with the rural addresses in between. Each of those places has its own housing profile, and our service area pages go through what that means for the plumbing.
If you are not certain whether your address is in range, call 605-250-6993 and ask. We would rather tell you honestly than waste your time.
